James, the brother of Jesus, writes in his New Testament letter, "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world" (James 1:27, ESV). We believe it is important to support those who are in need and widows are one of those groups of people who we believe need special attention. That is why we created our living with loss ministry, so we can better serve them in their affliction.
The living with loss ministry organization team meets every second Monday of the month at 6pm to discuss and make plans for helping the widows and others of our congregation.
