Dear church family,
Over the past few days we have had multiple members test positive for COVID-19. Several of those infected have participated in services and the McDuffie's going away party this past weekend, and there is the potential others may have been exposed.
As a result we have decided to hold services on-line this Sunday 11/08 similar to what we did in the past. At this point we aren’t sure if this will be extended to additional Sundays or not. We want to minimize the amount of time we aren’t meeting together, but at the same time want to take the necessary precautions to prevent additional positive tests and keep everyone safe.
If you feel you have come in contact with someone who has been infected, then you may want to quarantine and possibly get tested. If you aren’t sure that you have been exposed then contact one of the elders and they will give you the names of those who tested positive. The good news is that of those who have tested positive, the symptoms have been mild and several are already feeling ok.
As always we want to get back to meeting as a family at the building as soon as possible. At the same time we certainly don’t want to create high risk. We have been fortunate up to now in the number of cases we have had in the congregation. Our prayer is that those infected will be back to full health soon, all members will be safe and virus free, and that we will be back together worshipping as a family soon.
God Bless,
The Shepherds
